Improvement Hell Day 11 - Draw a background in two-point perspective. I stalled for days, made several sincere but weak attempts at drawing something more imaginative and finally went “I AM GOING TO PRODUCE A DRAWING AND POST IT EVEN IF IT IS SHIT!” and picked the first interesting reference I saw. BLEHHHhh I’m just glad the perspective days are over. I really should start drawing more backgrounds and environments though. I guess Improvement Hell is doing its job and forcing me to confront my weaknesses. owo;

Improvement Hell Day 4: 20 studies of a part of the body you have trouble drawing. Include at least 5 skeletal/muscular studies.

I struggle a lot with heads, especially at the weirder angles. I assure you, twenty head studies were drawn this night, including the five muscle/skeletal studies, but I spared you from looking upon the horror of several of them. XD This was the first really hellish entry of Improvement Hell for me, but I think I did get something out of it… honestly, I should do this assignment again. Like every night. Until it stops making me want to cry. @_@

I’m on a waitlist for two classes I desperately need, and if/when the “you can sign up now” e-mail arrives, I need to reply within 24 hours. Checking e-mail is a habit I’ve been consistently terrible at keeping under the best of conditions. So my challenge for an undetermined amount of time is to keep my (very unreliable) brain on top of things.

I was a terrible waste of paper back in the day, I would just do one tiny drawing on a page and then into the scanner it went and then into the pile never to be drawn on again…
